FLOWGRAPH ACTION IMPULSE

HI ALL,

ZHUANGWEI HAS A THREAD ON THE ARCH1101 FORUM THAT IS CALLED "ELEVATOR NOT HOLDING MY CHARACTER" ONE OF THE THINGS I SUGGESTED WAS TO USE AN ACTION IMPULSE NODE TO GIVE THE PLAYER A LITTLE SHOVE 10 TIMES A SECOND ... THIS FORCES THE GAME ENGINE TO UPDATE THE PHYSICS AND CAN HELP WITH YOUR PLAYER FALLING THROUGH THE ELEVATOR GEOMETRY.

YOU SHOULD ALSO CHECK THAT THE ELEVATOR ENTITY IS A BASIC PHYSICS ENTITY AND POSSIBLY SLOW IT DOWN A BIT ...
